Show historic monthly charts
The current month breakdown is nice, but it would be good to see the historic trend of the expense categories. (e.g. grocery spend over the past 6 months).
This is now live on the web! Just click the “charts” icon in the upper right of any given group or friend page – you should see “previous” and “next” buttons that enable you to view the chart for any month.
Hi, I can't find this option, any help to get there and view monthly chart?

There should be a chart (pie/bar) in excel sheet or as an another option in app. So, user can check there spends(in amounts and percentage) according to categories not users. Otherwise I have to download the csv then convert this in excel then applied formula and create pie chart. Also, there should be option to add custom categories.

Would be good to be able to see monthly summaries from previous 12 months or so for things such as a household splits

1. Plot the expenses curves for each month for comparison
2. Plot the pie charts for expenditure to identify expenditure areas every month.
And more of analysis to track expenditure

Show monthly expenses which does not include settlements in summary view.
category wise graph for all expenses from beginning to end and also the split up of different categories. that is a filter 'all the time'
When this will be available on app ?
I no longer see the charts option for my group - has this feature been removed? I really enjoyed using it!
Hi, thanks for updating the charts. One thing I have noticed is that the summary tables at the end of the charts count any settling up payments as part of the expenses total. Could we update this to keep those to separate or at least count the payments part as a credit?
Great work guys
I came here to ask for this as well. Even a simple start/end date entry to select the period would be perfect.
I'd love to see the graph page expanded: monthly breakdowns for past months, bar or line charts that show total spending per month for a range of months, and a way to filter charts by one or more category.

Yes, please! The charts icon shows bar graphs, so I was expecting a by time view, not the pie chart you get.
Yes I've started using SW last month and the first thing i searched for is Charts breakdown for the previous month for comparison....
Please, allow not to view only the current month chart, but the past months toow. Add buttons to navigate and display past months too. Thanks!
