I suggest you ...

Allow Push Notifications from Splitwise (instead of email)

The current app does a great job of emailing at every action, but after a while these can add up. If possible, SplitWise should store which platform each account holder uses and notify them via push notifications. These can be short, to the point, and would always keep people in the loop.

Plus, email is always a backup, if users choose!

    I Still don’t receive notifications!!
Take it as high priority, push mobile notifications, as most of the customers prefer to get them for easy access.

I still don't receive notification on my mobile even though I enabled all notification settings in app for both email and phone. I am using Iphone 6 and app is updated. What could be the reason?

Push notifications not working even though all settings are turned on in one plus 5t.

In iOS, tapping on the notification opens the app. Ideally, it should take you to the expense you are being notified about.

Also, tapping the notification to open the app doesn't dismiss it. You have to manually dismiss the notifications.

Can you guys look into these problems?
