Add Siri Shortcuts integration
It looks like integration with Siri was mentioned before Siri Shortcuts was introduced in iOS 12, but I'd like to bring it up again and mention a few use cases (some complex, some more simple) that I'd personally find useful:
- For Splitwise Plates, add the ability to open the app, finish a bill/table, and then "share" the output as a dictionary/map/hash to shortcuts. Presumably you could then pass the output over to Splitwise itself, or just loop through them and request on Venmo/Paypal/etc.
This one might require a little more thought, since at present "naming" plates or associating them with Splitwise accounts is cumbersome/nonexistent at the moment.
Add an expense for a specified user / input user. Could be composed with the above action to make plates more useful than it is right now (I usually screenshot it and then add to splitwise on the web app at present).
Settle up across all accounts. Could probably just pass it over to Venmo or Paypal, depending on the user (is there a way to set a preferred payment method per user?).
Pull current balances for all users that owe you (would make it easier to pull current balances and send reminders via text instead of email).
I realize this is effectively a bunch of feature requests under one header, but I thought I'd just throw them out and see if any resonated.

Thanks for the detailed suggestion! I’ll leave this open for further voting for now.

I'd also like to see Splitwise add support for shortcuts. Some use cases:
* Quickly add an expense to a particular group from the widget screen or the homescreen. Very handy when on trips as I'm always adding expenses to the same group.
* Quickly add a common expense like "groceries" or "gas" with a preset description/category/currency so I only have to type the amount.
* Like another commenter mentioned: I'd like to make a shortcut that combines Splitwise with my budget app, so I can input an expense and have it be added to both simultaneously.

I also second this. This would also allow me to input one expense and have it simultaneously added to splitwise and (a fraction of it) to YNAB

Totally second this. I feel like a simple Siri shortcut allowing to add an expense would be a game changer it terms of user experience.
