translations to different languages
I think it would be useful to have splitwise interfaces (web and mobile devices) in different languages as it is a really great tool which should be understandable for everyone.
Maybe starting with common languages like Russian, German, French, Spanish, Italian...
Update: Splitwise is now available in Spanish, German, Dutch, French, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese and European Portuguese. For more information about translations, see http://blog.splitwise.com/about/translators/
We’d love to internationalize, and definitely plan to do so in the future! Right now, Splitwise is still changing pretty fast, and we’re still settling on some of the language that we use in English. Once that’s a bit more settled, we hope to start work on translating into other languages, so that more people around the world can use Splitwise :)

Splitwise is really a great app/site, but my friends are sometimes lost due to a lack of understanding of some English terms. A translation project would be of much interest ! If you need help for the French translation, please contact me !

I love this application but sometimes is hard to expliits its features with my friends (sometimes for bad English expertise).
To continue to benefit of SplitWise even with them (bypassing the hold peace of paper) I would ask you if it is possible to translate the app in italian. If there are some issue for the translation I would propose myself to made the translations. (I'm an italian developer, so I have the languagr knowledge required and the skills to work xD)

In the App Store in Spanish says version 4.0 supports Español, Alemán, Bokmal, Noruego, Catalán, Checo, Chino simplificado, Chino tradicional, Coreano, Croata, etc. etc. ...... Turco, Ucraniano, Vietnamita.
It will be awesome to have the app on other lenguajes.
Great job guys!!

I really like Splitwise, it's a very good project. However, my family and some of my friends don't want to use it because of the language. Are you planning to translate it in french, italian, german, etc...? If needed, I can help for the french translation.
