Ability to use a calculator when entering bill

When entering a bill, it would be handy if there's a quick plus button there so that I can add multiple items fast and easy.

Currently there's an empty button on the number pad that shows up which I think could very well be used for simple plus/minus calculations.

Having a calculator would be helpful to quickly split amounts without having to quit the app

There absolutely has to be a calculator option within the app. Summing up bills, tips for a restaurant or just splitting a payment in a more complex way, they all require a calculator, and switching between the calculator app to splitwise is annoying

        1) Built in calculator in the unequal expense screen

        2) Integrated to Venmo name. For some reason it did not open my Venmo App, and I had to log into the Venmo website browser to claim funds

Sometimes only each person's share amount is available, instead of the total amount.

In web version, we can input the split details first, and the total amount is automatically calculated and shown. It can then be typed into the total amount field.

Please also implement this feature in mobile app.

It will be great to have a calculator keypad for “split by exact amount” so user can do simple calculation like sum of few items with taxes.

when I go to add a new transaction. I should be able to say cost 20 + 10 instead of having to type 30. or 80 - 30 instead of 50 or any combination thereof.

This has been pain point for me, when I’ve a bill with, say, 10 items, but only 4 of them needs to be put up on Splitwise, I’ve to exit the app and use native calculator and then come back to enter the amount.

Hence a suggestion to put up a simple calculator interface for quick calculation (nothing scientific)

inbuilt calculator that would simply allow me to enter 95+124 and it should take 219 automatically.
I don't want to open an external calculator and then enter 219

Suppose for a single type of transaction i had to pay multiple times cash. In that case i have to use a external calculator add all the cash payment then add the total amount. So if a small addition and subtraction button in the currency section would helo not to use an external calculator

When splitting bills unequally we need to get out of Splitwise to calculate the expense per person.. instead adding a basic calculator can reduce efforts by leaps and bounds.

To put a calculator into the add bill activity would help many people that has different bill items.
In my case, I share flat with people and we buy things in the supermarket for all three, but not some items that we don't share.
For that we are going to calculator to sum all shared products and then go to splitwise to add the sub set sum.
