Sorry for the trouble! Yep, this annoys me too :) I think we’re hoping to do some web cleanup work later this summer and fall, so I’ll add this to our list of possible improvements.

Thanks for the detailed feedback – it’s always useful to hear, and I’ll pass it on :)
One small feature you may not be aware of: on our website, Splitwise does allow you to add group members without email addresses, which hopefully helps for the “large party” scenario. My apologies that the same feature isn’t available on our mobile apps!

When I save an expense, I am brought back to the top of the page, that is a pain when I have to edit multiple old subsequent expenses in a group with a large number of expenses. I need to scroll back down everytime to get back at the point where I was before to edit the next entry.
