    We’d love to make Splitwise better for tracking personal expenses (though we’re mostly focused on splitting for the time being). For now, your best bet is probably to make a new group for personal expenses, with yourself as the only member.

    your application is really working fine and doing a great job.... till now this expense is giving the spent money and the share of the team members in the event.

    I think you can think a bit ahead and provide an option called Earnings or Income.

    I will keep it in simple words: lets say I am creating a group called Self Expenses and updating my daily transactions, at the end of the month if I want to check and compare my income and expenditure than I am clue less as I have only option to add bills but not income.

    If you guys can create a Self Expenses Group and Set that by default, people can add their Income first and than their self expenses, which can addict them to use splitwise though they are members of the group or not.

    Now every thing is in place in your current web app, just to add Self Expenses in the group and create a provision to add the income. Just like a update or patch.

    Hope this will increase the use of splitwise.
