   Thanks for the suggestion – I can see how that would be useful! Our travel calculator (http://splitwise.com/calculators/travel) does something like this, so it is a problem we’ve thought about before, though not exactly in this way. I’ll pass on your idea and add it to our list of possible future updates.

   Not neseserry to be linked with google calender. I just want my flatmates to get acess of tick marked dates in splitwise. It could be a common reminder for paying electricity bills for all flatmates as well.
