This is a neat idea! We have “reoccurring bills” but I can see how “duplicate this specific bill once, now” would be a useful functionality to add. We will consider this as we continue to improve Splitwise. Regards

Thanks for your feedback! I see how this would be a good improvement. Are you aware that you can set a payment to reoccur already, although we don’t have as fine tuning as you’d like? If you need any help setting our (basic) reoccuring feature up please email support@splitwise.com. Thanks, Zoe
An error occurred while saving the comment I need this option!!! Many times I am paying back something that has no interest for 6 months or a year. Or I am paying back someone in agreed-upon monthly payments. However, I need the payments to stop at a certain point. With the current set up, I am required to know when that certain stopping point is OR I have to manually enter all of the monthly payments myself. However, if I do that, it shows I all the money NOW and I don't.

Updating this because it’s been a while! We still haven’t added this to our roadmap.
As we mentioned we’ve found in testing that this behavior ends up confusing people, which is why we’ve chosen not to add it so far.We’ll continue to leave this under review for further voting and comments.
An error occurred while saving the comment I love this idea. I just put in a bunch of upcoming bills that aren't due for a while, however now it shows that I owe hundreds of dollars when actually, I am caught up.

As of September 2016, we don’t currently have any plans to add features for charging interest. We can definitely see how it’d be useful in some circumstances, especially for large debts, but right now we think it would add too much complexity and require us to redesign some significant parts of our user experience.
I would love this! I just had to manually add multiple bills since there isn't a "reoccurring until" feature. Since "reoccurring until" isn't a thing for Splitwise, then a button to "copy" the bill would be awesome!
