    I can definitely see how this would be useful for certain types of groups, especially travel. For now, you can always temporarily change your default currency from your account settings page (though I realize that’s not the best solution). Apologies for the trouble!

    Please implement this. My G/F is in Mexico, so we have a group where all transactions are in Pesos.

    I live in Canada, so I have a group with my roommate for household expenses in CAD.

    My G/F and I recently went travelling to Honduras, so for that group all the transactions are in HNL. We've previously done trips to Japan (YEN), lived in China (RMB), and lived in Kazakhstan (KZT).

    I know this is the extreme case when it comes to groups and currencies, but other people must experience it too when travelling. It is a complete PITA having to manually set the currency on each transaction.
