Square Cash integration
Updating since it’s been a while. Currently Square Cash does not have an API that we can use to integrate. At this point we would need Square Cash to change in order for us to do the integration.

Please integrate with Square Cash. One more vote with hope to get this quickly so that the Splitwise App can be used extensively..

Would also LOVE to see a square cash integration. Even if it included a manual confirmation of payment from the user, would be awesome to have the expense and recipient loaded up by default.

Hey, I was an Android user and switched to an iPhone recently. I am using our app and have few ideas.
- Give me a plain list of people and how much they owe me, do not give me subsets under each name to further show the breakup, if I need it I will click their name and search or would appreciate a collapsible tray under each name
- Can you please link your app to other services apart from PayPal, companies like discover, square cash or vemo will really be helpful -

Square cash now allows you to review & download transactions on the web:
https://cash.me/account/activity
Couldn't this allow you to verify transactions?

Please integrate Square Cash—this is the method me and most of my friends use for payment and Splitwise is way less useful without it. I'd use Venmo, but PayPal (the owner of Venmo) doesn't have the greatest reputation for consumer and seller protection so I prefer to not use their products if at all possible.

While we settle expenses, there should be a button for settling expenses through square cash application.
Once the user clicks on settle expenses the amount and the person should be automatically selected in square cash app and user can authorise the payment via passcode or password. Once the payment is completed, the records are shown in both apps.

Yes yes yes. Square cash is much better than PayPal IMHO.. Except for the unofficial $2500? Monthly limit.. Which is still higher than most people need.

It would be cool if you guys integrated Square Cash's payment ability to this app. Cash is free and way faster than PayPal. I believe that even offer an API already to make app integration easier. Love the app currently though even without cash integration!
Keep up the great dev work!

I'd like to expand upon this idea a bit in hopes of an admin seeing and taking this into consideration.
Things to take into account:
a) Last month Square proved they were interested in unique/useful integrations with their Snapchat partnership so it's certainly possible to get Square's backing and a tight API integration.
b) For those who aren't familiar, Square Cash has a request feature where I can request $N from a friend and then they just have to hit Approve to send it to me.
Now onto my ideal Splitwise + Square Cash integration:
Step 1: Select someone in a group who owes you money
Step 2: Click "Request via Square" and let them choose how much to request
Step 3: Request goes off and they receive a notification through the Square Cash app on their phone that I have requested $N through Splitwise.
Step 4: They hit approve (or deny!) and that reflects back into Splitwise without the requester having to do any manual data entry. -

+1. Square Cash is so much better than PayPal or Venmo. Even a mailto: like would be great! Thanks for considering!

Though you may not currently be able to verify a payment, you can (as Reid suggested) add a simple mailto link to pre-fill to, cc, subject, and message fields.
For a simple verification, add a "confirm payment" link to the email message for receiver to confirm payment.
