Add itemized split method to iOS app?
I love using itemized splits on the website, but can't seem to find this feature in the iOS app. Any plans to bring it to iOS?
Thanks!
Updating this since it’s been a while. We’re still leaving this as a possible future improvement. This is not a very popular feature on our website. Figuring out the design for mobile apps continues to be a challenge. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Add itemised bill option in iOS app also. It is frustrating to go back to laptop website just for that.

It would be great if this was supported on Android as well!

I need itemized as well! But on Android. 99.9% of my transactions on splitwise are itemized.

Would be super helpful when in restaurants trying to settle bills at the time of payment.

I understand the design challenge this poses for a mobile app, with there being a significant amount of data entry required, but I think it's important to include this feature on mobile because otherwise I have to do the math myself when sharing certain groceries between my roommates.
Maybe you could set it up so that we enter them like normal transactions but with a way to group them so that tax and tip can be included and split accordingly.

Your app is best !!!
But it would have been awesome if you can add calculator in the expense section itself.
For example- we 3 friends went shopping and i paid for all 3 of us and we bought 15 items. probably Item number 1,3,5,7,8 is between me and my friend 2 and item number 2,4,6 is in between me and my friend 1. And rest is in common.
Now to divide it properly i make 3 seperate expenses. 1st - me and friend 1
2nd Me and my friend 2
3rd Common. Now to add all above i need to open calc seperately and than put it here.
Instead it would have been great if we can sum also in the same expense field -

This is very important for a lot of people I know…the split becomes very accurate with the itemized billing option…with bigger display phones dominating the market, I think it is not that difficult for people to type multiple data entries…
The whole point is that I really don't want to switch from mobile application to the web service just because of this feature and I know a lot of people facing the problemI hope this gets some priority now as u already have iPhone 6 display app in the store

iPhone user chiming in. I actually never noticed the "Itemized bill" or "Split by adjustment" options on the web app until today. I'm sorely disappointed I never noticed the "Split by adjustment" option as it is incredibly useful for me as ~80% of my entries are made this way.
I would really like to get the "Split by adjustment" feature into iOS, and I'll explain my workflow to show the benefit to me, and hopefully others!. I'll give a simple example of how I currently calculate the split amounts after some shopping for me and my roommate. This happens a dozen or more times each month.
Without "Split by adjustment": Bill total is $30; me $8, roommate $4, $18 remainder is split equally. Calculation steps: $30-$8-$4=$18/2=$9 each in common; then $9+$8=$17 for me and $9+$4=$13 for my flatmate. Then I enter the exact amounts into the new bill, snap a photo of the receipt and save the bill to Splitwise from my phone.
With "Split by adjustment": I would enter $30, enter a +$8 adjustment for me and +$4 for my roommate, snap a photo of the receipt and save the bill to Splitwise from my phone.
This is kind of long winded, but holy moly how much this would add to the user experience.
