Recurring expenses with varying costs
Allow users to add recurring expenses that will vary in cost month to month and prompt the user for that months cost.
Updating this as it’s been a while. You can currently accomplish this by setting your expense to recur every month and then editing the amount on the expense once it posts.
Apologies that we don’t have a better way of managing this yet!
Do we have this feature now? if not whats the other solution

Not sure if it is possible, but one way I would think is possible is by using a pop up notification, either on the person who created the recurring bill or everyone who is involved in the bill. The notification is shown on a predefined date, and all one has to do is add the amount for that particular month, and it can then be added to the total.

My bills are the same every month, please allow us to simply copy that bill every month and yes, if we can change the amount a person owes (because portions or total may vary month to month) that would be great.

I'm in a roommate situation and it would be great to have reoccurring bills that you only need to alter the amount.
Also group totals that cancel each other out.
(i.e. If I owe John $200 for bill A and I paid $150 for bill B, it should have a total column that says I owe John $50 for the difference.)
i see the last comment on this request was almost a year ago. i would love to be able to edit upcoming bills. is this still being considered???
This shouldn't be that difficult. Just make it so that the bill recurs but has no cost associated with it. Ideally, it would send an email to notify, but even without that notification, it would still be way, way easier to use than it is now. Managing my account is a nightmare because I have 5 recurring bills that all have different costs every month. I never know if I've remembered to enter Time Warner's bill from 2 months ago or my electric bill for last month. If I were able to have monthly recurring charges, it would be easy for me to look back and see the months where I haven't yet entered the cost of the bill. This would make this product 10000x more useful to roommates who are managing bills.
Prehaps when setting up the bill add an additional step for bills that have varying amounts, and simply have an email go out to whomever genreally handles the bill where they can either respond to the message with the total or add it into the app each month
