Managing recurring expenses

Our monthly electricity bill went up by a couple of euros, so I needed to change the recurring expense that I had setup for this. Although this is possible the process is a bit confusing. I'd suggest providing an overview of scheduled recurring expenses, separate from the list of expenses that have already been created as a result from these schedules, which is what I was looking for because I didn't really want to touch any previous expenses.

        When deleting a recurring expense, ask if to delete "just this one" or all future expenses

        There should be an End Date for recurring payments or number of iterations since it's crucial for registering installments.

        When you edit a recurring Expense, the application or webpage must offer: change only that posting or change future postings for both values ​​and who has paid the expense.

        +1 on having an end date on recurring payments. Maybe in the US paying in installments are not that common but for other parts of the world this is a reality, so a recurring split payment with a end date could solve that problem.

        I agree with Mark van de Korput that this is currently very difficult to change since you have to go through the activities and find that recurring amount. For a power user, which has over 100 items a month, it's time consuming to find the recurring entry and update it.

        You need to create a Shortcut for Frequently recurring expenses so that with the tap of a button we can add the expense. This is better than a recurring bill because a recurring bill may not occur sometimes.

        You should provide better handling of repeating bill. There should place to see all repeating bill set up. And modify repeating bill for future.

        Is there a way to make recurring bill repeat every X weeks? I have a bill that comes every 4

        Currently no end date for recurring bill. Mostly emi are with end Date. For example I am having emi of 6 months, here there is no option to set tull which date.

        Hi Splitwise team and community members!

        I think it would be super helpful to have a reoccurring bills section. Right now there's no simple way to see which bills reoccur when, outside of going through previous charges individually. It would be awesome to have this so we can go over and edit our reoccurring bills in one place.

        It would be nice to have an easy way to find all your recurring bill to have a good overview of what is going to happen.

        i.e. Like a recurring "group" that would Appear once you have recurring bill and that would list all your recurring bill.

        The "group" could be then subdivided bye frequency: weekly, monthly, yearly, one time...

        I would love to be able to edit the amount of a recurring bill before the date it is due, when I get my bill. It's super annoying to have to wait and remember and then search in email for the amount due.

        I've been using this app for a few months and didn't realize you could add recurring bills. I had to google to find out how. I think you could make the user experience around recurring bills a little more obvious / easy.

        Love the app in general!

        What I would like to see is the ability to create an "undefined" recurring bill. The day of the recurring bill, you would be asked to input the amount.

        You could also choose to input the amount early which would cancel the reminder to do it. To do this, I would have only the next recurring bill show up as a future expense in the list of all expenses. So if it's a monthly bill, you only see the next month. The month after that will only show up after the reminder date has passed.

        Personally, I would set those bills one day after I usually get the bill by email (from my electricity company for example). This way, if I get the email and have time to record it in the Splitwise app then I'll do it right away and if not, I'll know that I'll be reminded the next day anyway.

        I would make the font of the "undefined recurring bills" red or something in the expenses list after the reminder has passed so that you don't forget about them.
