Create bill templates
I add bills at the end of the month...when I do, there are usually similar groups, for instance, I do groceries at once, but every goshdarn bill I add, I have to redo the changes I made to each successive one, each time it requires several clicks, if I could instead make a template and reuse it, it would make it far easier for me. Or copy an old one and change what I needed. For instance, all you'd need to add is a right click or link that said "create new bill from old" next to the bills when you scrolled over...
We’ve been thinking about something like this for monthly utility bills, where the total cost changes month-to-month but everything else stays the same. We’re looking into it!
I have a lot of expenses that come again and again, that require selecting all the different options every time. I can't set them as a recurring expense, because the amount is different every time.
Being able to create my own 'templates' that would appear in the menu's would be fantastic!
Hope we can have this feature. It is very useful when we often add same expense to the same group.
I have repetitive expenses each month, so it would be good if I have a button like "Add common expenses" then I am provided with a list of pre-populated expenses so I can check and add them to current expenses. Thanks!!
I think many people will find it useful if there is an option to create templates for quick addition of bills. There can many named templates per group and they can have information about 'split by shares/percentages'. So when user wants to quick-add the bill, he can select that template, add amount, description and that's it. Since 'split by shares/percentages' is already part of template, user don't have to add same information while splitting new bills.
