Add itemized split method to iOS app?
I love using itemized splits on the website, but can't seem to find this feature in the iOS app. Any plans to bring it to iOS?
Updating this since it’s been a while. We’re still leaving this as a possible future improvement. This is not a very popular feature on our website. Figuring out the design for mobile apps continues to be a challenge. Sorry for the inconvenience!

It's available on web, and most of the flow exists after you scan a bill
Hello Splitwise team,
I wanted to let you know that I think the itemised feature should be included in the mobile app (android). I recently subscribed hoping that it was a "paid feature" and was quite disappointed to find out that it was not available (which I later confirmed via support).
I have since cancelled my subscription and I just thought you should know why I decided to start and subsequently stop my subscription.
Thanks for your time.

If we go to a mall ( group of 4 people namely A,B,C&D )and if we purchase clothes
A brought clothes of 50₹
B brought clothes of 100₹
C brought clothes of 1000₹
D brought clothes of 5000₹
*GST. 18% (1107₹)
so grand total will be 7257₹
so it will be difficult to count each person rate + GST again his purchase cost and add it in split unequal option
So try to bring a options where we can solve this problem .
I miss the function itemzed bill for mobile. I don't know if I couln't find our if it is missing. Everytime I want to add ou remove one person from a item, I have to go to the computer. It will be great if this function is avaliable for mobile, with a friendly interface and easy to find.
Just got implement this already ffs. What do developers even do all day at this "company". Trivial app with a simple UI can't even match the website?! Ridiculous
It would be useful to manually add all the elements on the bill and split every single element
e.g. a bill with flour, milk, eggs, biscuit, a group of three people A,B,C: flour is for ABC, milk only for AC, eggs for BC, biscuit for BC.
I think this is implemented in the pro version inside the bill scan feature but it would be really useful to insert it manually in free version.

Can you add feature of splitting the bill itemized way as it is there in web application into mobile application ??
It will become easy to add or edit the bill by items

Itemized bill is a fantastic feature. I would argue one reason it is not used much on web is that it is not well surfaced.
Please add this feature to the android app.
I love this feature on the website. It is my favorite option.

Please add this feature to the ios devices (iphone and ipad) as soon as possible. Its really inconvenient to always log on from PC for entering an itemised bill. Thanks
Currently the mobile interface do not have itemized bill.
Its quite cumbersome to access the web interface from a smart phone to access this feature. If I zoom in to add people , then select itemized billing without zooming out, the window would disappear in chrome (Dont know if this is a bug).
Adding this option in the mobile interface would be quite handy for people to bills on the move

Request to put the itemized option that's available on desktop view on our mobile apps. It makes the bill splitting a lot easier.

Its been 4 years. And it's still not there.
Add itemised bill option in iOS app also. It is frustrating to go back to laptop website just for that.
It would be great if this was supported on Android as well!

I need itemized as well! But on Android. 99.9% of my transactions on splitwise are itemized.

Would be super helpful when in restaurants trying to settle bills at the time of payment.

I understand the design challenge this poses for a mobile app, with there being a significant amount of data entry required, but I think it's important to include this feature on mobile because otherwise I have to do the math myself when sharing certain groceries between my roommates.
Maybe you could set it up so that we enter them like normal transactions but with a way to group them so that tax and tip can be included and split accordingly.
