Ability to input multiple items into an expense.
When picking out items from a grocery list receipt, it's not feasible to input each item as separate expense. I an forced to sum all applicable items from my receipt outside if split wise and then input the total into the expense. It would be nice if I could add subitems into an expense which will calculate the the total for me automatically.
It would be even nicer if you could optionally name the subitems in order to remember what they are.
We have itemized bill on the website which accomplishes this. The interface is a little too complex for us to be able to bring this to mobile anytime soon.

I have three group of categories in my place. One which is Vegan, Other Non Vegan and the other guy who does not consume yogurt. If i buy all these in a single store(Ex: Costco), it is upto me to separate the list with amounts and manually calculate. Its hard to calculate and apply right amount with its tax to specific people in the group. I know as a programmer that Splitwise does not have a scope to itemize the bills and categorize it. But it is possible for splitwise to understand the bill and then categorize it. Assuming there is 100$ transaction where 40 is Vegan 40 is Non Vegan and 20$ is yogurt, this can be done in two ways.
I can add a bill of 100$ and split the amount to people by manually calculating or
can have mutliple transactions under a single transaction like (A being Vegan, B being Non Vegan and C being Non Yogurt) 40$ goes to A and C, 40$ to A, B, C and 20$ to A, B. And splitwise will then calculate each amounts end of all sub transactions to a joint transaction(which is easy math).
