Windows 10 Universal App
Please support Windows 10 by creating an official Splitwise universal app. A universal app is capable of running on ALL Windows 10 devices (desktop PCs, tablets, phone and Xbox) with one single set of code.
There are some Windows 10 universal apps written by third party developers that work with Splitwise. Here are two we’re aware of:
Split It: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/p/split-it/9wzdncrdpfhg
SplitBook: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/p/splitbook/9nblggh6jkm6
We can’t endorse these apps specifically, but you may find them useful.

Hi Team Windows 10 is now big enough, 300 million plus, it would be great if you guys consider making a universal app for this.
Thanks.P.S. Splitwise is doing a great job!

Try using XAMARIN. You will need to maintain only 1 app going forward, which runs on all the platform and devices.

In windows 10, splittr is there but all functions are not there in it. I have to log in online to change some things and settle up the bills. So it is highly needed that a windows phone exclusive app should launch !! Coz this is the best application for settlement of bills and i dont want to use any other app for it ! you guys are amazing ! just develope an app for windows 10 `!!

@Elton
Slack currently has two separate apps for desktop and mobile: an antiquated Win32 version for desktop PCs and an entirely separate Windows Phone app. At this point however, it would be easier for Slack to drop the desktop-only app and update their Windows Phone app to a universal Windows 10 app. That way, their W10 app will run identically on both PC and mobile, rather than having to manage two separate apps as they currently do. In fact, this is their plan: a friend who works for Slack tells me their Windows 10 mobile app can easily run on PCs, at this point they are just finalizing the adaptive UX (what allows their universal app to scale appropriately to screens of different sizes and shapes) before they publish to the Windows Store.
As for Electron, that is NOT what companies use to make universal apps. Electron produces legacy desktop software, not universal apps that scale across desktop, mobile phones and tablets, Xbox, Hololens, Surface Hub, etc. For a truly universal app, I recommend Visual Studio 2015 or Xamarin, or simply using Microsoft's new bridge tools like Project Islandwood which we have seen in some cases can port an iOS app to Windows 10 in less than 5 minutes.

@admin you don't need Windows developers to build one. Just use Electron by github. Slack uses that too. Lemme know if you need help

And.. you can port your Android code to Windows 10 too..

Check this out: You can port your iOS code to Windows 10. You don't need to put in a lot of additional effort.

Hi, all of my friends are big fan of splitwise and we use it on daily basis. But the pain is we always have to open a browser to use it as all of my friends including me are big fan of windows products but there is no official app for windows 10 platform.
Request you to please develop a windows 10 app.
We all miss you Splitwise on Windows platform.
Thanks,
Anshul

As compare to the Android and iOS, the windows phone third party applications are really lacking behind in providing all the features.
So, we really need a official splitwise application.
Please consider this request from all Windows Phone users and develop one for this platform as well.
Thanks.

Windows 10 is superb. Great work by Microsoft.
Splitwise can use the tools that allows the code migration directly from android or IOS, which is already made available by Microsoft -

Hi. Yes please! I use it on Windows Phone, but alas no app for Windows 10. Windows 10 is great, and now with a Surface searching for the app.
Thanks! Paul

@Mohamed
The number is actually 75 million so far:
http://www.theverge.com/2015/8/26/9209949/windows-10-75-million-machines
It is being released in waves. So it could be at 100 million by now, and Microsoft is predicting 1 billion Windows 10 users (across device ecosystems) in the next 3 years...

This would be a great idea. Now one app can be designed to change its user interface depending on the device or the size of the window it's in, called "Adaptive UX". So the same app for Win10 PCs could intelligently adapt to Win10 phones. One app could target both users.

oh this would be awesome. With push notifications for phone and desktop users when bills are added or payments are received
