Thanks for the suggestion! For now, you may want to check out the “Simplify debts with this person” option (web-only), which moves all of a person’s group debts out of the group. You can do this by clicking on a person’s name in the left sidebar, then clicking the settings icon at the top of the right sidebar and choosing “Simplify debts with this person”.

Exactly same problem. We want to transfer the end balances of one trip to another trip, or even to the house management group. Instead we end up carrying around multiple unsettlted trips which is very confusing. In the end we made a group which we called 'the group' and we are now usit for everything there which way more efficient but its also like trashing most of the app.

Definitely makes sense! We’re working on better ways of settling up across both personal debts and group debts, because we know it’s a pain in the neck right now :) We hope to have new features to help with that soon!

And it actually seems trivial to implement since we have done it by hand in the past. We hit 'settle up' for the full amount for everyone, and then added to the new group an expence bewtween each pair of people that settled up as 'carryover debt from London'. We could then delete the group, but its too tedious to keep doing by hand.
