would be a great idea to add negative expenses / earnings

It would be great to be able to add income in a similar way to expenses.
I tried entering a negative value expense, but it shows up as an expense ultimately still. (ie. in statistics)

As part of our apartment finances my flatmate and I rent out the attached car space, splitting the income equally.

However because there's no concept of income in Splitwise it's awkward to account for this money properly. In the end I found the easiest thing to do was just adjust another expense line item (the rent we pay on the apartment), but this is not ideal, particularly if we the car space becomes vacant for a period etc.

Right now to log positive cash flow that I receive, I log a bill paid by my partner in the same amount so I have to pay half to him. This works with 2 people, but not for larger splitwise groups, and it messes up our monthly totals.

It should be possível to enter a negative Bill. For instance when the group receives money from outside and the balance must be devided throughout the group...

Suppose that an external person gives me some money X that has to be shared between the members of the group. It'd be enough to add that I spent -X to be shared, but there's no possibility to insert negative numbers. I think it would be a nice feature.

.. so we made $x at an event and are sharing it.

Have the possibility to add Revenue also, so that the app can be used as money balance for members

a ton of people are about to have canceled travel plans and refunded expenses. please expedite this feature on mobile.

Please add an payment Received button with same split option as we add expense, as sometimes we receive money from others which needs to be split to all.

sometime we receive cashback as part of common shopping. it would be really helpful if we can add cashback too in splitwise.

it would be awesome if we could add an income to a group, that allows you to cancel debts, without the condition that it have to become from an member user. like, what if we invite to dinner to some friends that dont use the app, and they gave us some money for the expenses we had on the food.
or what if we have gains from a business.

5 of us guys did a barbecue in the park and we collected some money (though the objective was not make profit) we did share everything we spent equallt
Does splitwise offer a feature to account income generated as well?

Is it possible to add negative payment amount to be able to distribute refunds or prize winnings among a group of friends?

Beside splitting bills it would be great if you could also share incoming money.
Example: I’m in a charity rallye team and we have bills to pay but also get money from people supporting us.
(You can’t even input “negative spendings” as a work around.)
