To do this, open your OneNote notebook, selecting the note to insert your existing spreadsheet. From there, click Insert > Spreadsheet > Existing Excel Spreadsheet. In the Choose Document to Insert window, locate the Excel spreadsheet to insert. Select it, then press the Insert button.

Don't rely on shaking as the only way of selecting any common action. The exception is novelty apps like whips or throwing dice.
For other apps it is poor UX as it:
Is uncommon behaviour for many users, as most apps (sanely) don't use this action.
Has poor discoverability as there is no cue on the screen letting you know how to use it. There may be an initial tutorial screen, but that isn't visible when using it.
Often requires a grip change to do it, and is impossible to use when your device is on a flat surface.
Poor accessibility for anyone using an assistive device.
Breaks your visual continuity as you can't really watch what is happening while you shake it.
Has calibration issues. You often also have to shake it a few times for it to trigger if it's insensitive. If it's sensitive, you then can have it trigger when you aren't trying to shake it.
I (and many others) will uninstall your app and give you a 1 star review if I have to shake it to perform a common action.AutoCAD is designing software that allows the user to create blueprints and drafts of various structures and models. Thanks for the detailed thoughts! Building an importer is definitely possible, but it just hasn’t been a high enough priority for us yet – only a handful of people have asked for it, and we’re a tiny team (2 developers), so other updates end up taking precedence. We might get to it someday, but I wouldn’t expect it any time soon, unfortunately.
If you’re feeling brave though (and you’re willing to ignore XKCD’s advice), we do have an API you could use for importing! Docs are here: http://dev.splitwise.com. Maybe someone will put a nice CSV import program up on GitHub for the power users :)

Open a new Excel document and navigate to the Data tab.

To make purchases from the App Store, iTunes Store, or Apple Books, or buy iCloud storage, you need an Apple ID and a valid payment method.
You can typically use these methods with your Apple ID:

Updating this since it’s been a while. We’re still leaving this as a possible future improvement. This is not a very popular feature on our website. Figuring out the design for mobile apps continues to be a challenge. Sorry for the inconvenience!
