    Two possible solutions for you:

    If you use groups: Have you tried clicking the “view printable summary” link at the top of each month on our website? That link includes a total for each person for JUST that month, so that you can see how much each person spent/owes for a given month.

    If you’re splitting all your bills with one other person: The “Trends” tab in the right-hand sidebar also includes a summary of monthly expenses. Click the “Trends” button at the top of the sidebar, then click the “View full charts” link at the bottom of the sidebar. You’ll be able to see your expenses broken down by category, as well as your total balance for the month.

    If that doesn’t do what you’re looking for, let me know and I’ll pass on the suggestion.

    I do not use groups. I'm splitting all my bills with one other person. The trends button seems to do the trick, although it seems like more of a workaround than a solution. I would expect this to be more easily accessible.
