Ability to select transactions from bank or card history
Can ask users to link cards and bank accounts in order to show transactions in split wise so user can select transactions instead of having to do manual entry. Plaid makes a great API (demo.plaid.com) for this: harvey@plaid.com

I ended up building my own solution to this problem. It pulls all of your transactions into one place and easily enables you to select ones to split with a friend or group.
Check it out and let me know what you think: https://reconcile.app

This could so easily be accomplished via plaid. A junior engineer could build this in a week and it would save so much time and make a paid account worth it.

Have an option of toggle(on/off) to add the credit card expenses directly on Splitwise, which can then be reviewed by us and added easily without much hasstle.
Toggle button to select the date and group where the expenses should be added to I.e. person or group. -

My partner and I used Splitwise on the daily to track and split our expenses. Recently we've switched to Honeydue because it has the feature of syncing banks and splitting an expense directly from the bank. This is a very crucial feature that I believe Splitwise is missing as a competitor.
I used to have to manually input all transactions into the app and sometimes I don't know if I've already recorded a transaction, therefore risking double counting expenses. Once an expense is split on Honeydue, I cannot split it again -- this is also a great additional feature aside from syncing our banks.
If Splitwise can implement these 2 features (link banks so all transactions are easily accessible, and preventing a transaction from being split after it has been split), I would love to use Splitwise again.
Honeydue targets couples, so as of the moment I cannot use it for groups expenses. I would consider switching to Honeydue completely once this feature is out.

It can be more easy and fast to use app and add expenses with accurate details when we have options to share expense recipes from apple card or google pay.
When we use apple card, samsung NFC or any other similar ways for payment we got all details related payment. That payment details we can share to other app directly. For example we had options to share details to notes, Evernotes , mail and many more options. On that spot if i can see spiltwise app and after sharing if spiltwise get permission to only read that data as expense details. It will be so easy and fast to add expenses.
Open for all comments and suggestions.
Thank in advance.
