Someone sent me a payment on Splitwise – how do I collect my money?

Splitwise doesn't actually handle any real money – it just helps you keep track of how much you owe to other people, like a digital IOU.

When someone "records a payment" on Splitwise, it's up to them to make sure that you actually receive the money, whether it's as cash, via PayPal, or by other means. If someone has added a payment to you on Splitwise and you never received the money, you should email or talk to them to figure out what's up.
