How do I request a payment via Venmo?

Unfortunately, Splitwise does not allow you to request payments via Venmo. Money transfers must be initiated by the person who is sending the payment. If you'd like someone else to pay you back, they should log in to their Splitwise account and hit the "Settle up" button, and then they should be presented with the option to pay you back via Venmo.

If you'd like to send a person a reminder to settle up, you can do so by going to their friend screen and choosing the "Send reminder" option, which can be found under the "More" menu or the settings menu.
