Allow incoming bills be linked directly to Splitwise
Is there a feature where we could link our incoming bills for other users involved to see? If not, I'd love to see it. For example, it would be nice to have an electronic gas bill come in as a read only document so everyone paying can just look straight at the bill when it is received and not have to wait for someone to post what payment would be. I suppose it would be linked through your email acct and/or utility company. This transparency also allows people to be more on top of their payments, and more accountable should they fall behind. Thanks!
Thanks for the suggestion! This does sounds like it would be useful, though it’s a pretty complex feature to add, so it’s not likely we’ll do this soon.

By using the open api, Splitwise could track the recurring payments and highlight if the payment went trough or not.
I had a case where one of the utility bills was not paid as the company did not take the payment for that month due to a glitch and since I do not check these things very often I only noticed 3 months later.

You should integrate it with other apps like nifflr, swiggy, zomato, dominoes, so that after order is completed it should set an option to add it in splitwise.

Once user submitted/pay bill from some other app, it should ask user to add it directly in Splitwise from that only.

I know that recurring bills are possible but I have an electricity bill on auto-pay and the amount varies every month. It would be great if there was a way it could automatically be added to the Splitwise group as well. I know it's not an easy feature to add but it would be really cool.
