Sorry for the trouble! For now, you can always convert into a different currency by temporarily changing your default currency to something else, using the “convert” function, and then changing your default currency back.

Yes, it is always convenient for everyone to have more options to choose the currency they wish to operate with. I personally am a massive fan of online games for big boys and always choose online casino operators that have more than 8 at least different deposit and withdrawal currency options. This is really important. Say for example you take some cash out at ATM or convert some money at the local exchange. It should be possible to create a 0 balance entry where it takes one currency and creates another.
I currently work around this limitation by having 2 payment transactions marking a payment of the foreign currency to me and a payment from the original (home) currency from me.

I recently upgraded to Splitwise Pro to try the currency conversion option. However, it went back and screwed up hundreds of my past transactions, and also affected everyone in all of my groups. This was extremely frustrating and had I known this would be the result, I would not have used this feature or even purchased splitwise pro to try it.
I think the app should just let you create one transaction per person to convert all currencies. This way I can have clear transactions converting currencies and can revert if needed.
