Allow export of all transactions in QIF/QFX/CSV
I use PocketSmith for budgeting and personal finance.
When you think about it, a splitwise balance is like a loan/demand deposit (depending on whether you are net owed or owing money).
Since I use PocketSmith to give me a holistic view of my finances, I'd like it to reflect my Splitwise balance too (especially since I'm often owed 3 figure sums).
The easiest way to do this in an app/service-agnostic way would be to allow the export of all transactions, as a QIF/QFX/CSV file. Most personal finance/bugeting apps allow import from one or more of these formats.
The current per-friend/group export doesn't really work for this. And the "download everything" Pro feature returns JSON, which I suppose I could write a QIF/QFX/CSV converter for, but if I'm going to pay for Pro I'd prefer not to have to do most of the work myself anyway.
Thanks for the suggestion – I definitely understand how this would be useful. I’ll add it to our list of possible improvements for future updates.

The author is impressive. I mean, you're serious about budgeting. I am sure that over time I also need to learn how to properly manage personal finances. In the meantime, I am a student and consider myself a little frivolous. By the way, I always need help with my studies. By the way, I found an amazing resource https://writinguniverse.com/profile-essay-topics/ Here I found as many as 150 essay topics that are easy and fun to write. The advice I get from this source is very valuable to me. This is not surprising because on this site I find detailed writing guides, free essay samples, fresh topic ideas, formatting rules, and study inspiration.

With the current spreadsheet export function, we have to go from group to group, and then friend to friend, and then collate everything.
The ideal UX for me would be that I can download a CSV (or similar) of 'all transactions' with 1 click. If there's a need for group wise/friend wise filters - as it is implemented now, then it seems better to have them as filters on this page. A couple other filters that would be very useful to me are:
1. Filter for transactions that only involve me
2. Filter to toggle expenses or income transactions. The filters would be a good to have, because ultimately it can be done on a spreadsheet. But an export of all transactions/activity is a must.

Hi! I am just discovering this app, and so far I think it is amazing! Until now the only thing bugging me is that I can't export all the expenses in CSV and have to create a file for each group. It would be really awesome to be able to backup all the expenses (with categories in different sheets?) in a CSV file. In any case, thank you for developing this app, I think it will be very usefull!
