make it easier to change the category of an expense.
Often an expense is categorized as 'General' when it cannot automatically be identified. I suggest you add the ability to change the category directly from the main page of expenses (perhaps a drop-down menu next to the expense) instead of needing to click on each expense and then clicking 'edit expense'.
You can now change the expense category icon without having to edit the expense! Just click on the icon in the group page and the other service icons should appear right below the expense.

I'm the same way when it comes to the amount of clicks (like seriously, I count them when I'm surfing the next..it's a huge pet peeve of mine.)
Changing 20 of them like that would make me crazy too, so hopefully we can find a way to fix it.

I sound like quite a diva when I read what you wrote haha. It's not a big deal for individual expenses, but it was a hassle when I decided to categorize post-fact a list of expenses for an existing group. Changing the category for 20 different expenses was significantly more annoying than it would have been had I not needed to navigate away from and back to the main page each time. That said, I've been a huge fan of Splitwise for a while now. You guys provide a fantastic service, keep it up!
