Include group balances when viewing a friendship (to see the total balance with an individual)
Could you make it so that group balances and individual friend balances are included together, rather than as two separate things?
I have friends on Splitwise who are both (a) in groups with me and (b) in my friends list. Some of our transactions happen inside the group, and others happen in our one-on-one friendships.
Unfortunately, my balance with Person X in the group is treated separately from my balance with the same Person X in my friends list, which makes it very confusing to figure out who owes who.
This has now been completed on all platforms: web, iPhone, and Android.
Friendships include group balances in the list of expenses, so when you click on a friend’s name, you will see all transactions with that person.

yeah, It is not very friendly when it comes to viewing the dashboard. it forces me to visit the individual groups to see the amounts. It would be really nice if no groups information is shown on dashboard(or shown hidden on start up) and only amounts between each person is shown. This is keeping some of my friend's from moving to Splitwise.
BillMonk is stupid simple and that it is an awesome thing.

What would the privacy implications be? I can already see the amounts, they are just split into two different pages. It'd be an awesome feature especially for those of us who escaped billmonk :)

Same problem as Julie here, would be nice to fix.

Agreed. By importing from BillMonk, my housemates' amounts are individual friendships; however, we want to post bills in the house group since it's easier, but if I add a bill to the group, it doesn't seem to add it to our individual friendships, making two separate amounts.. kind of annoying..

Why would Privacy be an issue, only the cost for each person for the particular bill need to be displayed for all.
the outstanding balance will displayed on the dashboard its private ! -

I totally agree with this idea. Without this feature, we have to manually add the individual bills and figure out the total amount that needs to paid to each person in the group. This could be very painful if number of persons in a group is quite large. Not having this feature could be a deal breaker for our group.
