Show balances between people more clearly
In a group, why would the group on the whole owe someone money?
Its not really clear how much balance is there to be settled between any two persons.
In my case, I owe a person certain amount but when I click on his name, there is no info on how much I owe him
The raw repayment amount feature was put in late last week! To get this, go to the settle up button and on the top right you’ll see a slider that lets you switch between simplified payments or the amount each person owes each directly without any debt shuffling.

So, this feature is pretty cool. You hid it away really well though. I never noticed it until I went to your feedback page to make the exact same complaint as the original one here.
Within the main overview group view, what each person within the group owes should be simplified, just as it is when you go to Settle Up and move the slider over. If someone in the group owes me $200 as part of the group and I owe that person $100 for something that is not related to the group, the overall group view should show that he owes me $100, not $200. That would make the interface much more user-friendly and easier to understand.
While you're at it, the idea of the Dashboard is great, but the Dashboard view right now is not very helpful. I can see what my group as a whole owes me, but then it shows me that I owe others in that group money, when in reality what I owe them should just decrease the amount they owe me, since in balance they owe me money. I suggest showing a simple pie graph of money I owe and a simple pie graph of money owed to me, with a pie slice per person. Forget the concept of a group owing money - simplify it to show each person in the group's balance with me. That's the info that I find valuable.
Thank you!

I have the same problem Jon.......a person owes me X money....and he is a part of my group. When i put this bill in the group adding just that person, still its being split into all the group members....for example he owes me $400...when i put the bill in....he owes me 150, someone else in the group owe me 250.....someone else 50 and so on...................when do we expect you move to the new model?? Looks like I am loosing money with this bill structure........since i have added a lot of bills and dont exactly know who owes me how much.......................
