We don’t currently have plans to add a “select all”/“deselect all” toggle, but there is another way to do this!
In the main “Add bill” form, select the field that says “With you and: [your group]”. Delete the “[your group]” token, then type in the names of the specific people that you want to split the bill with. That way, you can add a bill that is split with only those people, without having to un-check a whole bunch of entries on the “split details” screen. Hope that helps!

I have a group created for my work colleagues, it is large group and many times we split by only 3-4 persons within this group, it would be easier to set the bill if i could have remove all people from this bill by one click and then just add people that are actually spiting the bill.

there is no select all/deselect all option when we add expenses in web and mobile app. if there are ots of people in the group, it becomes difficult to delect everyone except 1or 2 when the expense is between 2 people.

We often have groups with 20+ people. When adding an item which is only shared between 5 people it's annoying the unselect all the other people. It would be nice to have a button to unselect everyone.

There should be a button to deselect all when entering a payment in a group (especially for large ones). It becomes a pain to have to do it manually if an entry is just between two or three people.

Hello, we have large group, and have often sub-group expenses, affecting only a few people. In the "split equally" menu, it's not convenient to often uncheck a lot of people, manually. It would be great to have a "uncheck all" button and a live indication of the number of people selected.

Add a "deselect all" in the Split menu (very handy when only 1 or 2 members are concerned by an expense, in a long list).

When in the 'Split equally' pane, all the members of a group are selected by default.
I would like to suggest that this behaviour is turned off by default, as it becomes quite tedious to deselect everyone if only one person is required.
Or, you could add a 'Select all / Deselect all' button instead.

Yeah, that sorta helps. I like the autocomplete.
The new add form is very difficult to use. Mostly, the use of links vs buttons doesn't make any sense, the positional arrangement of elements doesn't fit my workflow, and the icons for various tasks make them undiscoverable. Icons would make sense if they were for common actions, but "split unequally" is not a thing that exists in any other software anywhere...
Also, it's really weird that you're reworking a perfectly fine UI instead of adding features or making a way for me to pay you for this extremely useful service, but whatever.

Un-checking all the friends in a big group can be time consuming. We want to start sharing among a group of 20 friends. Now we need to uncheck all and only select a few for certain expenses which is very time consuming.
