Save unequal split settings
I always pay 2/3 and roommate pays 1/3 (i sublet one of the rooms, but think couples). % split is great but would be nice not to have to type 66.67 and 33.33 every time.
The ability to save unequal splits in a group is a Pro feature. With Pro enabled, you will find the option to save unequal splits at the bottom of the group’s Settings page in our mobile apps.
You can sign up for Pro in our apps by going to the Account tab in iOS or the top left menu on Android, or by going directly to https://secure.splitwise.com/pro/subscribe.

It seems like your request is a bit ambiguous, and the context is not clear. If you're referring to saving settings related to an "unequal split" feature in a specific application, software, or system, please provide more details about the context.

Kind of crazy that the saved split setting cannot be applied retroactively.

To avoid having to enter/adjust the split choices again, there should be an option in the group settings to divide the group's costs in a predefined manner.

Yes it needs a provision to save split criteria. Is this available with paid version?

Well my wife paid for the pro feature and I'm the only person that is in the group other than her and I do not have access to any pro features. Seems stupid that EVERY person needs pro and that I cannot use it.

I agree. I would prefer to have a default split method set up, it's a pain to manually enter every time.

Really appreciate you adding this capability... is this ONLY in the app? I can't find this setting on the web interface.

I have an arrangement with my girlfriend to pay 60-40 all of our expenses, then I have make so many extra clicks for every item i add.
If you could set these beforehand and everything you add starts at that fixed ratio would be much faster!

It should be easy to see how a registered expense is split up once you have saved it.
When you enter your expense in a group, each time you have to set the way they are to be split up, and when you re-open a previously registered expense, you do not see the breakdown ratio you used before, but by default it is set as "Split by exact amounts".Likewise, it should be an option in the group settings to split the expenses for that group in a predetermined way so that you don't have to enter/adjust the split options again and again.

Hej.

E.g. when I have a group for splitting costs with my flatmate I would love to be able to choose that when adding an expense it defaults to "flatmate owes me the entire amount". Currently it defaults to "split equally".

It should be able to save a group with a specifically division rate. Exemple: Every expense in that certain group will be divided (INSERT A NUMBER)% to person A and (INSERT A NUMBER)% to person B.
Tks.

Sharing should be saved to avoid repetitive typing

Is it possible to add another member to the group and then allocate expenses already paid (and entered) by someone on prior day?

I thought splitwise pro had this feature so I ended up switching to a paid account. Then I realised that isn't the case at all. That was the killer feature for me, now I'm going back to being a "normal" splitwise user.

I would really appreciate this feature, ie. being able to save an alternative to 'share equally' as a default, like a 1/3-2/3 split. I regularly travel with a couple, and it is so annoying to have to enter 33.33 and 66.67 every time.

does anyone have recommendations for an app that does have this feature?

I think it's safe to say they aren't developing the app anymore. At this pace I will probably develop my own app as it seems there's quite a number of people that would actually pay for this functionality.

Up!
Guys, long life for splitwise. Thank you so much for this app. I'm just waiting for this feature so I will become a pro!
