Itemized Billing
When we often buy grocery, Out of the 3 of us, 2 of share a commodity and the third guy doesn't. Would be great if we could have some feature to enter that w/o using a calculator.

I’m not sure wether to mark this as completed or declined. We have finished this on web, but do not have plans to bring this to the mobile apps. That screen is very hard to design on small screens.

Hi Splitwise, you are my essential app now. And there is one function that I desperately want, that I think to myself I wish had existed everyday. The function is suggested by the title.
When I go grocery shopping, i record wrote items in “note” so people can check in app on details about what they are paying for. Here is the problem, after I record each items, I have to enter each number to calculator to get a sum, which is tediously repetitive. I wish the “note” will go through word in note text and find all the numbers and simply add them up. You can make the function more complicated later, but for me, this simply function will already be greatly helpful.
I hope you would consider this suggestion. And thank you for having built such an amazing app.

You could have a field for the quantity, unitary price and put a weight for itemized split (max weight = quantity)

I run small business and therefore can use this app to keep bills of transactions. However, when multiple parties are considered, I am not able to quantify the amount per party as the item list is big. Thus If I can set a price per item and then create an item wise split, then it will help me in creating an e-bill as well as keeping track of my inventory.

When splitting grocery bills, vegetarians wouldn't pay for meat expenses, lactose-intolerant people wouldn't pay for dairy, and those with larger appetites could pay more.
