"A copy bill" function
E.g. we get cable bill every month. Itemize it because different people want special features etc. Like 10 items typically in the bill. Usually the same but sometimes get PPV. Pain in the butt to re-enter every time. Should be able to copy a bill and use it as a foundation for a new bill.
This is a neat idea! We have “reoccurring bills” but I can see how “duplicate this specific bill once, now” would be a useful functionality to add. We will consider this as we continue to improve Splitwise. Regards

Why do we sometimes feel unsure or unable to write Canadian homework well? The main reason is that many people have overlooked the basic logic and a lot of writing details of Canadian homework ghostwriting http://www.baydue.com/store/info?id=19 , resulting in unsatisfactory results. In fact, there are many small techniques that can help us better express our opinions during the writing process.

Sad that this "simple" feature is not available even after 6 years after the suggestion.

I would like this functionality because usually two people contribute to the same transaction. At the moment I have to create two separate transactions with the same people, so being able to copy one and just adjust the amount would be handy.

Any updates on this? I want to split phone bills and I can't have it as a recurring charge because every month is different and duplicating a bill is really useful in such scenarios.

Does having the same entry twice in splitwise count as a double entry, implying that expanses are tallied twice?

Hey! We often have the same takeout food bill for our shared flat but rotate in who's to pick it up and pay. It would be great if, each time, the person paying could just duplicate the entry from last time and have the title, category, amount and sharing ratio copied but the current date and payer (= current user) set.

Does the same entry twice in splitwise, is count as double entry means expanses are counted as double??

I use this feature all the time in INDICO when I set up a new meeting agenda based on an existing one. It's a simple button labeled "Clone Event". You could have "Clone expense", it would be super-useful!

I have been manually adding bills that come from the same company but are always different amounts I would love the copy feature just to be able to update the date and dollar amount and not have to retype all of the data.

I would love this! I just had to manually add multiple bills since there isn't a "reoccurring until" feature. Since "reoccurring until" isn't a thing for Splitwise, then a button to "copy" the bill would be awesome!

I have a number of bills that I split every month, but that are not always the same amount, so I can't set them up to be recurring. Being able to duplicate the previous month's bill and update with current month's amount (or other details) would be really helpful!

I have a lottery group with some friends and the way we redistribute the (unfortunately scarce) earnings is by creating a new bill where the user who paid for the lottery (and therefore got the prize) owes everyone else. They're a little tricky to think of so I always reference to previous instances so I don't mess up. It would be great if I could copy one of these bills.
The recurring bill function doesn't work for this situation as it doesn't happen regularly (unfortunately again) nor are the values always the same.

I just wanted to say that my service organization, Delta Omicron Lambda, transitioned from using spreadsheets to Splitwise this past semester and it has made keeping track of expenses EXPONENTIALLY easier. I absolutely love Splitwise and the automatic updates when venmo and PayPal transactions are paid are insanely convenient.
However, I'm giving feedback because I wanted to make an accommodating suggestion that may help Splitwise become more appealing to larger organizations such as fraternities and sororities on college campuses and beyond. When adding markups into the system, I would prefer not to give the total amount spent on the order to the entire organization, so the ability to add a single bill of a specific amount with the same description for multiple people would be a tremendous time saver.
For example, if I wanted to mark up 50 members $10 each for an organization shirt, being able to add all the members through the same bill and send a charge of only $10 described as 'Organization Shirt' without showing the total of $500 would be an amazing feature! Currently when we have larger markups I have to add the same bill into the system up to 100+ times and having a feature that allows this all to be done at once would save a great amount of time.
I hope that my suggestion makes sense and will be considered for the near future in Splitwise. If there's any more information needed then feel free to reach out to me at deltaomicronlambda1996@gmail.com. Thank you for your time!

There should be an option to create and expense using an old expense instead of creating from scratch
