A ghost Entity
Another feature you could look at adding..
Scenario: 4 people in a house. Bob
goes on leave and should not be billed anything at all, but yet the old
records should remain.
At the easiest level, you could probably get a Ghost check box [not present in the house] on Bob's name and whenever you hit the Add Bill feature, Bob should be default unchecked.
Thanks!
We have a slightly different solution in mind, but it should handle this issue.

Right now a member cannot be removed from a group when his balance is more than zero. However, there should be a feature to disable him so that he won’t be added automatically to future splits in the group.

It should be possible for someone to be added to a group but not participate in (automatic) sharing. For example my wife would join the group, see the bills, possibly adding new ones, but when split equally or with percentage I would take her part hence saving us for owing money to each other. An observer flag would fit well, possibly combinable with pre-saved percentage per group member. In this case she would get 0%.

Right now I'm planning a wedding. There is my family, and her family. We are splitting into 2.
I want to add my parents and her parents, but I don't want to divide into 6, they're just on there to follow what's going on... -

what kinds of things would you want the observers to be able to see?
