Add a bill you owe someone else
My roommates are usually too lazy to use Splitwise. I would like to be able to record their bills so that I know how much I owe them.

Hi Eric,
This should be possible already – you can change who paid for the bill:
- on the web: click on the link in “Paid by YOU”
- iPhone/Android by tapping on the name at the top of the form that says “XXX paid”
And if you want to add bills between two roommates that are not you, this is also possible in the context of a group. If you’re confused on how to do this, I guess email support@splitwise.com?

How to enter the amount I owed? I know the option is available but unable to find. Why is it made so inconvenient? Provide option to add photos here.

I don't see that "XXX paid"? I only see "Paid by you and split equally"?
How do I record "this person paid for that". Or does the other person need to do that?
What a weird app to not have this feature for 5 years.

My idea is the reverse of the current way charges are added. Instead of specifying who paid for a item and then who owes money, I think it would be also useful to have the option to enter a charge as who owes money to the group. In my case, I collected money from outside of Splitwise and want to share what I earned with the group.
