Please add this feature. It's a must for me, I use a different app which ain't good for that. Please do that guys. Love your work.

I have friends who owe me money but they don't use Splitwise, so I can't add the expenses because you need to enter a contact name before entering an expense. For ex also my parents owe me money and I want to track this but I can't

I am sharing my home with my friend, splitwise helps me a lot... But, It will be better if splitwise have an option to add personal expenses as well. Otherwise we have to use some other app to maintain personal expenses...

Add Personal Expenses Tab. There are some cases like we pay ourselves like buying a sim card or a pen like that..so personal expenses option could be a nice one where i can add my liabilities.

It would be highly appreciated if you can also provide a feature to manage self expenses/monthly budget.

Need a personal tracker where I can enter how much I owe others and others owe me for contacts without email address and for existing Splitwise contacts without showing up/notifying on their app. Suppose a contact owes me 100 bucks, negotiates to pay only 50 and I enter only 50 in Splitwise. But I want to add it to a personal notes/tracker to know how much he should have given me so that I can remind myself to make up for it through some other deal. This notes should not show in the balances for that contact and be visible only to myself

expense sheet for my own... say i m buying anything from market n right now i dnt have any trackig tool, through which i can check my expenses. so if splitwise can provide a feature to add n track my own expenses then its easy for me to track my expenses. i could see my monthly expenses n spents.

The solution above is not helping as it will always show as 'Settled up' and won't feature the amount

Personal expenses option... maintaining induvidual account to track own experiences made in daily life... I can add non-group expenses but I have to add someone in shared with to track money.. lets say im staying alone in flat and I want to track all expenses made by myself in every month... this option is currently not available...

I see admin has commented on aug'14 but still not done anything regarding this. Monthly expense is imp thing and adding this feature will increase usability.

I use Monefy as my personal expense tracker. The only problem is that more than half my expenses are shared with friends and are hence logged in Splitwise. I need to re-enter these expenses in Monefy.

I could potentially use just Splitwise for personal expense tracking too, but it lacks certain essential features like category-wise breakdown of expenses etc. Is it possible to add these feature so that Splitwise can become the all-in-one expense management app?

An alternative would be for you to provide an API for splitwise, so that another expense management app can pull in data from Splitwise in real-time.

So I can use splitwise as an expense tracker also for myself

adding myself to the group is one solution to do that. But if i want my wife to add to my personal expenses group, then that's not possible

Add a field for entering own expenses.. So that we can keep a track of personal expenses. Keeping track of one's own expenses is also a task and if splitwise incorporates this feature.. Then it would be a complete app (That's what I think)!

Love your app- it's great, super simple and intuitive. I was wondering if you guys are considering developing an expense tracker for individuals. It will be super awesome and helpful for folks like me who use Splitwise for both- personal and group expenses. Maybe you could integrate it with the regular Splitwise.

Also, another suggestion- pls consider adding a calculator feature while recording an expense. I've observed that its a huge need.

to maintain personal expenses within our name and password secured.

apart of expanses that i share with others, i would love to keep track of my own. i still havent been able to find a good all to track my daily expanses and incomes. would be grate if there were the possibility of creating a list just for me to have it all in one app!

You can extend it to categorize personal expenses allowing one to know how much is spent in each category. Making it a personal expense manager as well ans not just for splitting expenses.

Add personal profile wherein my expenses (both shared and individual) are shown like a friend's expenses are shown, so that one can monitor one's own expenses.
