I think Splitwise is underestimating the use cases here. This would be a very handy feature.

+1 to a bulk editor, it would make it so much simpler to do lots of expenses all at once, in a spreadsheet like way.

I just entered 20 items directly with one person instead of a group. I now have to manually move each one to the correct group. It would be great to select more than one item by Shift + Click selecting them and then drag and drop them onto a group or another person, or click Move and choose where they all move to. This could also allow you to delete or do other actions on the selected group.
