Add ability to pay someone else's debt.
Paying someone else's debt to some other person, so that they are settled up and the amount turns to be owed to you.
You can do this currently.
Let’s say you’re Person A, and you have 2 friends: Person B owes Person C $20.
If you want to pay Person C for Person B, just do so (make the payment) and then have B ‘Settle Up’ with C, and then record a debt between themselves and you for $20.
So, Splitwise would say B paid C $20 (which would be technically incorrect but would reflect the change in balance that happened) and that B owes A (you) $20.

My wife and I used this with a group of friends recently for a trip. I want to pay my wife's share because we use the same account. It would be great if I could just select another user and say "include in my total".
That way when we use "simplify debts", it would take that into account reduce overall payments.
Instead I did simplify debts, recorded a "cash payment' between my wife and I and then logged in to her account to send the payment between her and one other person.
Great product though - keep up the good work!

It's easier if you add a cash payment from them to you. So I'm person A, and person B owes $x to person C, but I want to pay on their behalf. I add a cash payment from B to me (A) for $x. Then person B appears as "settled up" (and they never had to create an account or log in) and now I owe person C, and can pay with venmo or whatever. This only works if "Simplify Debts" is on.

I wish there is an option that i could pay for other person. I know it could be associated on my expense but it would be nice to have that paid for other to keep track the expenses of each.
