Add the ability to add guests
When splitting bills, Splitwise works great for people that are already added into the app / website. However, for temporary guests, it becomes more of a hassle as after splitting the bill out since there's no room to add them.
The only solution now is to list it into comments.
There should be an option to add a 'Guest' slot, maybe by hitting a + button that allows you to add AND name another person that's not on Splitwise. From there, you'd be able to split the bill accordingly.

Interesting thought! Normally we’d just encourage you to add this new person as a friend or group member on Splitwise (hooray, new friends!), but I’ll pass on your suggestion at our next team meeting.

Can you please add functionality to add members to a group who can just watch but there won’t be a expenses for him/her? The need is when the expenses are for 2 or more families and we want to divide between families and yet allow both members of family to see the expenses.

For Ex in a family trip, husband's will be members who pay/receive & wife's can be added for FYI

Situation- Many a times we go out with new people for a while and then leave. we do have quite a few settlements with them there. And sometimes it can go complicated.
I do not want to add them as friend and create a group. There should be one option to quickly create a temporary group and balance out the debts.

For example if a roomie in a shared-flat is temporarily not involved in transactions cause of traveling or subletting his/her room for a couple of months, a function to inactivate the membership in the group by using a simple swipe-function in the group-settings would be great! Would really appreciate to have this option!;)

There should be option to split in terms of counts for non member person of group with member of group.
For example:
Me my friend and his guest went for outing, i spend 100 bucks between all, than there should be option to split between me and my friend+1.Currently have to do it manually by either putting hard coded amount or %

Suppose my friend is not on Splitwise and I want to add some expenses for him, but for that I have to write it somewhere else, so there must be a place in your app where we can add notes or something like that to add expenses for the non Splitwiserrrssss..... .

We get so many situations where one or two person, who are temporary and to do the calculation on expenses we had to add them into group, which is unnecessary according to me. So provide an option to create dummy account for the convinces and reduce the unnecessary work.

Guest person would be fine. When this person join to splitwise, you can connect him/her to the guest person...

Hi, it would be great to add not registered person to the travel group.
As example: I have a wakeboard boat with 2 friends. We all have splitwise and it works great. When we wake with friends, we would like to add them temporary to the group and delete them after the trip. Would be great to have the possibility to add not registered persons.Kind regards from Germany

Provide an option to include Guest members in the group without an invite(mail/number). This is helpful in cases where an expense needs to be shared with a new person who's available for a temperory basis, and can't be invited in splitwise just for a temporary settlement.
