Edit Simplify Debt partners
Lets say in a group, X owes me 200$ , Y owes me 200$ and I owe 200$ to Z. The total i get back is 200$. Lets say simplify debts considering several other transactions shows that X should pay 200$ to me. But i'd prefer taking it from Y as we are close friends and im not comfortable dealing with X. My suggestion is to Allow me to choose who pays me and likewise everyone does and overall the comfort of the transactions increases.
Hey there! We don’t currently plan to add an actual feature for this, but “simplify debts” is smart enough to adjust if you decide to pay someone different. For example, if Splitwise says you should pay person X but you decide to pay person Y instead, then your group’s debts will automatically be recalculated and adjusted to include your new payment. Hope that helps!

Allow group members to be collected into family groups such that all debts are collected to the family leader. This would reduce the number of equalization payments.
I know it is possible if manual payments are added, but this should be possible via automatic posts in the background. This would be great way to allow tracking and simple entry of debts incurred by children or other family members who are not making payments. Also it would allow a simple way to eliminate payments between couples who are members of a larger group if this is desired. -

I am in a group of 10people in splitwise. We turned on smiplify debts option. But i know only 8people in that group but while simplifying debts other 2 persons need to owe me. I am not much familiar with them 2 ask them owed money for me. I can ask other 8people who are my friends. The other 2 are mutal friends. The better option is to craete a customize simplify debts option who can owe only from particular persons.

Given: A owes B and C owes D
When: A near B and want to pay instead of C.
As result: A pays A + C to B and C appears to owe to A.
Thanks! Your app is great anyway!

I went away with a group of people, some of them were couples. Each individual was added seperately. Let's say Anna and Bob are a couple. Bob owes money to a third party whereas Anna receives money from a fourth party. I would like to influence that Bob by preference could pay back Anna since it is more convenient for them to settle that between the two of them since they see each other regurarly and/ or have each others bank account.
