add a feature to see total personal expense in a group
I have groups made for trips or for certain occasions and what i want to know for my records is how much have i spent on that occasion or trip. Currently, i can see only the break up of how much I spent on each expense item but I want to also see a sum of that, i.e total expense for the entire group as well for each member of that group

This Trends feature is not useful - it only shows by month and defaults to the current month which the shows you a spend of 0. So pretty pointless.

Should be able to create each trip as a single session. Suppose in a trip everyone might have added their spendings and in the end they have settled up. So I wanted to know how much did I spent on that trip.

It would be great if the trip expense in total.
As of now we are only getting individual balance.

Suppose i create a group for trip to Amsterdam between 4 friends. each will keep recording our expenses. many times between the trip, we settle up the money and then lent and owed are refreshed. there should be a feature where we can know our individual spent amounts till date. you can email me if i am still not clear.

I use splitwise extensively for all trips. I love it but one feature that would be great is a running "trip total" or "group total". Right now we only see who owes who how much but would be great to see group total.

I would like to see the amount spent by an entire Group not just the amounts broken down by person. This would let me know how much a trip or party cost overall.
