Recurring expense
Every moth there will be some common recurring expenses, I wish you can allow us to duplicate/ copy an existing expense so we can update and save as new. For example I have mobile expense split between 4 people in different way (not equally), every month it's same, so it's a pain to enter everything again and again. If I can just copy and recreate, then entering finite details like service name/ or splitting details/ etc will be eliminated.

We actually have a feature for recurring bills already, if that’s what you’re looking for! Just tap on the date when adding a bill, and you can set it to recur as often as you’d like – new copies of the bill will automatically be generated each week/month/etc.

When I set it as setle up, it just dissañpears and I need to add a new expense, I just want to keep track of what I already paid

Hi,
there's no option to add a recurring expense for every 4 weeks (aka 28 days) just fortnightly (14 days) or monthly (varying amount of days)Can you please look into this?!
A lot of bills aren't calendar based (monthly) but 28 days only.

To avoid adding repetitive nature payment again and again we can simply add an option against a payment that we want to repeat it or not

Hey, what about to add “repeat transaction” functionality? I and my friend often have a lunch together, pay in turn and write in splitwise. In one month we have around 40 similar transactions.

An end-user could specify the periodicity of a bill or recurring payment. splitwise would create a table with spots that help organize the payments.
For example if I were sharing a monthly gas bill with my roommate, I could specify the total for March in the March Row and the total for April in the April row. It would make it easier for me to recognize when I I am up to date with the transactions that I have put into Splitwise.

I have setup an automatic transfer of my portion of the bills into a shared account, i'd like it to be automatically reflected in splitwise instead of having to manually add it each fortnight.

When you have a bill, a not recurring one, and you have already paid a similar bill before it would be cool to recall an old splitted bill and copy the split.
For example, if Alice, Bob and Charlie goes to the restaurant two times in a week ordering the same and paying the same amount of money, it would be nice reuse an old bill to split the new one in few seconds. :) -

This suggestion applies to both App and web application. I have some recurring expenses with my friends which happen very frequently. Request you to add a Copy expense and modify option to make life little easier with your stuff :)

Bills are necessary in everyday life. So bills should be added along with reminder/alarm to remind that payment is due and should be paid.
Can add extra feature. Like if bill not paid , how much fine should be paid within how many days so that the amount will be added to bill after due date
