Bills paid by multiple people: "Each person paid an equal share"
When adding a bill which was paid by multiple people you should be able to select an option "Each person paid an equal share" in addition to the available option "Each person paid for their own share".
This is especially useful for couples having a shared bank account / credit card or for shared bills where everyone just chipped in the same amount of money (but one still wants to split the items afterwards).
Thanks for the suggestion! I can see how this’d be useful for certain common types of bills, so I’ll add it to our list of possible improvements for the future :)

According to market research, countries like the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and others tend to have relatively higher prices for international students seeking online course assistance at http://www.meeloun.com/wangkedaixiu/ , with costs typically ranging from hundreds to thousands of dollars per course. Conversely, in Southeast Asian countries and similar regions, the price for online course assistance for international students is relatively lower, typically ranging from tens to hundreds of dollars per course.

Hi! When entering that "multiple people" paid, it would be useful if I could use checkboxes or shares rather than splitting exact amounts.
Every single time I use that feature, it's because multiple people have paid equal shares, but we're splitting it with an additional person. It's quite annoying to do the arithmetic to figure out what the exact dollar split is.

+1 for this on the iOS app! I'd love to be able to easily enter a percentage (say, 50/50) instead of exact amounts when saying that "multiple people paid."
My partner and I share a credit card, and sometimes we use it to pay for things we split with a larger group. In order to account for these payments correctly, I have to manually calculate the exact amounts that each of us paid based based on the total, when it would be quicker to enter percentages.
Alternatively, you could provide every option (amounts, shares, percentages, etc.) when splitting a charge between multiple people who paid, just like these options are available when splitting the charge among people who owe.

I don't know a good way to describe this but I used to use Spent before splitwise. My partner and I paid a lot from out shared account but we entered the expenses in the app for future reference.
When I do this in Splitwise, I don't see any amount but something like "no saldo". I'd like to have an overview of the costs for that trip or group. -

My roommates and I each pay for our electric bill straight from the company's website. It would be nice to have a field in 'paid by' that suggests no one person paid the entire thing. For example, this months bill has not yet been paid, so we all owe our shares. In order to show what each person owes in our group, I have to make it look like I paid it all and the others owe me. It would be nice to have it where no one person paid. This is the only downfall for our group.

For the moment you have multiple option to split the bill over those who should pay eventualy (in percentage, in equal parts, equally distributing, ...). I think it whould be handy if you also had that option in case multiple people actually paid.
Now I always have to divide the bill by myself and I'm not that good in math. It would be easy if the app could do it itself.
