Settle up should have Accept or Reject
If someone settles up. It should allow you to accept before the payment is recorded as settled.
Thanks for the suggestion – we’ve tried this approach in the past and found it didn’t work well. If you’d like to reject a payment by someone else, we’ve found it’s just as easy to delete it.
Best,
Jon

When you are in a group and one of your group mates posted a payment and that is split on you as-well but you are involved.
I am suggesting a option to accept or reject when someone added you in payment.
So that you can either accept or reject that payment split based on your involvement in that post.

There should be a feature that allows each person to confirm that they’ve included all expenses and are ready to settle up. Once all confirm then the settle up process can commence. Right now this happens a lot just in group chats outside the app.
This would help avoid pre-mature settling which creates a headache to figure out after the fact.

This would have a better control on settling the transactions :)

if one party settles all the mount or partial then at least other party should be well aware with the amount date and stuff. The notification could be sent to verify of the settling so that everyone has an affirmation on the debts.
also, please include wallets other than paytm. -

"Settled" should be accepted and updated in the app if both the parties approve and accepts . What if my friend just goes and settles up without actually setting up

I dont know if this is suggested by some one else earlier. This is about settling up a transaction. It would be great if application shows an alert like 'Accept Settlement from <someone> ?' and two buttons 'Yes', 'No'. This is for the user in the other end. And application should revert the settlement if he presses 'No' . Also notify the user who tries to settle up, like 'Settlement Rejected by <someone>'
