Ask for 'location' permission so you can tell when I travel and remind me to use Splitwise
Recently I came back from a vacation and realized that I have
written all the shared expenses the old way of note taking in my note app
rather than using splitwise. I simply forgot that I can use splitwise. I
wished splitwise would remind me some how to use the app when I'm
traveling.
You can probably put an option in the settings to ask the user if he/she
wants splitwise to know their location. Then when this setting is on you
find out that I am out of town and give me a notification like "I see you
are out of town. You can use splitwise if you are in a vacation sharing
expenses with friends." or something like that. I can either ignore the
notification or start using the app :)
Interesting suggestion! I can see how this’d be pretty cool, though I can also imagine how other people would see this as a breach of privacy, so we’d probably have to make it opt-in or something like that. I’ll add it to our list of possible ideas for the future :)

I'm really into travelling as well, so I agree that it can be quite convenient. Even though I don't usually check out many new places abroad that can be expensive, and I try to join tours from https://www.secretfoodtours.com/vancouver/ most of the time, it's still important for me to keep track of my expenses.

Thank you for the useful information. I travel a lot and I definitely need this app. And lately I've been flying more. At first, booking airline tickets was a nightmare for me. It was difficult for me to find a flight with good conditions at a good price. But thanks to the https://voyagu.com/destinations/business-class-flights-to-europe-switzerland/ everything has become much easier. Every time I called I was offered a good deal. And I have never overpaid for airfare.

The app should automatically use the location services in phone and suggest the user to add a bill.
Ex: If a person goes to a restaurant, the app should ask the user if he would like to add a bill.
