Add possibility for paypal.me link
The new service from paypal offers new possibilities to transfer money more easily to freinds and family with a link like https://www.paypal.me/username/25.43
It makes sense to include the possibility to settle up via this link or to generate the link as such for further sharing. (by adding the paypal.me-username to the splitwise-account)

Interesting. I haven’t seen this yet. It’s unlikely we’ll be able to support this as our control over how the PayPal code works is limited, but it’s definitely worth looking into.

I still think this would be really neat, since you still seem to have problems with PayPal e.g. in Germany, as you told me at WWDC. It would be nice if I could send these URLs in-app instead of having to do this out-of-channel.

The URL format is https://www.paypal.me/<userid>/send?amount=<float: 2 decimals>¤cyCode=<Code>
The URL parameters can be filled according to the expense. and it would be nice if you could have multiple links for different paypal accounts for different currencies.
The url parameters are just icing on the cake, so if you dont want to deal with the idea of possibly having them change thats fine. But storing the link to my paypal.me page in my account record would be very helpful.

I see that the linkage to paypal is more or less external , which is fine. I see that paypal have a handy feature wher you can direct people to your paypal.me/yourname page, and they can give you money. It would be suoer handuy if there were a place to add this to my user account, so people could just press a button in the plitwise app , and that would take them straight to my paypal link.
