Allow Manually Entered Tips
I really love the new itemized bill split system in the new Splitwise. The only thing that i would recommend is that you allow the tip to be entered manually, instead of just a percentage (Even better if you allowed a percentage OR a whole number into that field and added it accordingly). The reason for this is that most of the time i do not add my expense at the restaurant, so i usually add a tip that rounds the total up to an even dollar (which is rarely an exact percentage). please give an option to delete the previous uploaded data
please give option to delete previously uploaded data from billmonk to here. I cannot clear all data i imported. I tried lot of times very frustating and finally tried to delete my account and had a issue with that one too

https://secure.splitwise.com/billmonk/import
You’ll see at the very bottom that there is a way to revert the data that was imported. If this doesn’t work, please let us know.

Import Contacts from gmail.
Instead of sending one mail to one person send to multiple ppl.

Initial amount
Its not showing the original amount , and who is involved in that transaction. When you try to review that transaction once posted/saved.

Add the ability to move an expense to a household
My flatmate has all these debts to me,
previously we recorded these as household debts, but now for some reason its part of a personal debt.. (and not part of our household)

mouse over messages over the icons would be better
new members dont know what the icons for home, add group, members and add members stand for. it would be better if a mouse over message is displayed on all the icons that are used in this website.

Highlight payments
currently a recorded payment isnt highlighted as much as the bills. a mere cosmetic change.. but its easy to skip over a payment with such a small panel in between..

Add the date of items in Recent Activity and allow viewing all activity (not only recent)
If Splitwise has wiki edit privileges, then it is of utmost importance to know when events happened and to be able to go back in time to the very beginning.

Add shared/itemised bill directly from dashboard
To add a shared bill I have to go to a friend's page and add more people. Can you give and Add bill button right on the dashboard/home screen like BillMonk
2 votesWe have added the ability to add a bill or payment on the dashboard itself. Just look at the top of the page, and you’ll see the ability to add expenses, IOU’s and payments.

Correct the reminder email.
The reminder email uses the $ symbol even though another currency is shown below.
The comment "Hey username, I just wanted to remind you that you are currently owed CZK3,182.00 in our group 'London trip!'. Let's settle up next time we see each other." actually means the opposite of what it should.
It should be "Hey username, I just wanted to remind you that you currently owe CZK3,182.00 in our group 'London trip!'. Let's settle up next time we see each other."

Can it possible to merge group amount to regular account details
Currently I see If someone owe me personal amount and also owes me in group then on dashboard I only see personal amount. and not personal amount + group amount.

There is no edit option once we enter itemized bill..
There should be option to edit bill to cancel specific entry in the bill once we enter it and save it and also have option to edit the way the bill was split among the participants.

Include group expenses in friends page
Hi,
Consider I have a friend 'Tom' and Tom is part of group 'Home'
Is this by design that you consider individual expenses with Tom and expenses with Tom as part of Home differently?In other words, why doesnt Tom expenses as part of Home show up on his friends page?

balance summary show how much others owe me
Balance summary only shows how much I owe others. You should also show how much the others owe me.

fix bugs - app on my iPhone is not showing current transactions
I just downloaded Splitwise, and added a friend. We entered some 'test' IOU's, and the app is not showing them. I have logged out/logged in a few times.

send email if ever there is a new bill here
when there is a new bills posted, i think the system should send an automatic mail alert to respective email ID
2 votesIn your user settings, you can opt-in to receive an email any time a bill is posted, edited or deleted. We may make this the default at some point, but want to avoid spamming people.

I’m assuming this means make the dashboard the main screen you load when you come to the page? You can set this in your account settings. If you meant something else, please let me know.

adjust the amount due in groups after payment is received froma friend
Hi I found it extremely annoying that even after a payment is made the amount that i owe to anyone does not get reflected in the groups. This is confusing. Why can't you just display the possible options when the payment is made so that one can chose what bill to close and then that bill amount can be updated accordingly.

Tanuj2 votesWe’ve updated the way this works so that you can either choose to put a payment in a group OR if the payment amount settles up everything between you and a friend, we settle up all groups.
