Hi there,
You can set reminders from the “Date” picker for any bill that recurs monthly!
If you need any help finding it, email support@splitwise.com?
Cheers,

iPad optimized app
I would love to see iPad and Android optimized apps.
2 votesAndroid: The app is now much better on Android
iPad: We are not planning to make an iPad app, though the website works quite well on iPad.

Add Message/thanks/note to payment
It would be great if you could add a "thank you" or other note when sending a payment.
2 votesYou can actually do this already! When settling up, click the “Add image/notes” button – any notes that you include will be sent to the recipient in an email notification.

Group friends so that I can keep track of the total amount received for an activity
I think it would be great if I could have multiple groups so that I knew in aggregate what each owed me. Here is my justification: I live with roommates who I split utilities and food with. I also have a house in Tahoe that I share with a separate group of people. I would like to keep the two groups separate because the Tahoe bills are large and we also have to keep tighter track of expenses (everyone pays for everything upfront) so we don't run out of money.
2 votesYou can actually do this already! From the account settings screen, click “Create a group” under “Advanced features” – it’ll let you create a separate group where you can keep track of shared expenses with a set group of people. You can have as many groups as you’d like, for houses, group trips, and more.

Done! I’ve just added all three currencies to our list – they should appear on the site and in our apps later today. Thanks for your patience!

Statistics
Hey guys,
nice idea with this new year's statistics.
Maybe it would be a good (and easy to implement) idea to make this statistics available all the year, with more details. E.g. I would be really interested in how much money I spend for groceries, transportation, holiday, and so on...2 votesOn the website, you can go to a group or friendship and look for trend in the right hand sidebar. This will give you some basic stats for the month so far in the group. If you click view full trends, you can look at past months.

Dashboard giving graph
Using ElasticSearch we can add real time management for a user.
Suppose, some transactions happened for one week. But the person really doesn't cannot analyse for the previous week. <Make it as an add-on>2 votesUpdate: this is now available on the web for Pro users under Charts in the account menu in the upper right corner.
We’ve actually been playing with a balance-over-time graph as a Pro feature – we agree that it’s a nice addition :) We hope to make that available soon!

ADD a button/link to re-send invite
Say I have a group with some one else / some people in it. I have already sent an invite, and it shows as invite pending. Add the option to re-send the invite, in case the person deleted it by accident or just as a reminder to join splitwise again.

create a separate version for divorcing parents
Hi. I just wanted to let you know that I really do like SplitWise. I know it's great for the target audience of folks like roomates and friends sharing expenses, but I have a suggestion for either an extension of it or a different version. I am unfortunately going through a divorce, and I've learned that expenses for children are split in a manner similar to what you already have. They're generally simpler - only 2 parties, and the percentage is usually set by the parenting agreement.
Anyway, I think there is a market that you could address with very…
2 votesHello and thanks for your feedback and compliments! This is actually already a common use case. Is there something aside from more categories that you think would make it better? We submit category list updates every-so-often and can certainly consider adding some more child-rearing-related ones, but that feels almost like a cosmetic change. Would love to hear from you at support@splitwise.com

spreadsheet view of transactions
Currently there are only 2 coulmns; one showing how much I paid and another how much I have lent. Instead, please show a column for every one in the group and the amount they owe.
2 votesIf you’d like to view everyone’s share of each transaction, you can download a spreadsheet from our website – just click on the friend or group that you want to export, then click the “Settings” icon at the top of the right sidebar and choose “Export as spreadsheet”. For groups, you can also print a monthly summary that includes each person’s share of each bill – just click the “View printable summary” link at the top of each month of bills. Hope that helps!

Add a option to Print the expense sheet
An option to print the expense sheet (list of all transactions) for a particular month or a given month range.
This will allow user to maintain an offline copy and also ease up the further book keeping if required.2 votesThere are two ways you can do this right now, both from our website:
1) View printable summary – if you use a group on Splitwise, at the top of each month you should see a small link to “View printable summary”. That will open a page with a detailed readable summary of your expenses for the month. (There’s also a dropdown at the top of that page with an option to view all months, if you wish.)
2) Export as spreadsheet – if you click on a friend or group, then click the settings icon at the top of the right-side column, you should see an option to “Export as spreadsheet”. The spreadsheet export isn’t as nicely formatted as the printable summary, but it should have the information you need.
Hope that helps!

Possibility to add expense to myself
Just add expense to myself for tracking and later edit to add more ppl. more like in a trip where we pre-book
2 votesSplitwise does allow you to add expenses that only involve yourself (though it’ll warn you before saving, just in case). You can then edit those expenses later to add more people to the bill. If you have any questions about how it works, feel free to email us at support@splitwise.com.

Recycle Bin for deleted transactions
can we have a recycle bin for deleted transactions, which can be used to restore deleted items?
2 votesHey Adervina – you can restore deleted transactions from the “Recent activity” screen, which should show all recent changes in your account. Hope that helps!

Add an Expense Category: Utility
I love the way Splitwise automatically grabs Water, Electric, and Gas bills, but my Utilities company rolls all that in to one bill I call "Utilities." Is there anyway you could add a category for "Utility(-ies)?"
Love the app/site!
2 votesUpdate: the category detection should now correctly handle utility.
Thanks for the suggestion, Ben! I’ll see if we can add “Utilities” to our list of auto-categorization words – in the meantime, you should be able to assign your bill to the “Utilities: other” category by clicking or tapping on the category icon when adding an expense. Hope that helps!

Add TND (Tunisian dinar) to the list of currency
It would be awesome if you can add TND !! Thank you , great great app!
2 votesSure thing! I’ve just added TND to our list of currencies – it should show up in our mobile apps by the end of the day. Hope that helps! :)

Classificate expenses
Should be abble to classify the expenses in such way that we could be abble to control our expenses by type. Ex. I would like to see how much (i.e percentege) of my expenses was in dinning out or groceries. Other then that the app is great!
2 votesYou can add a category to any expense. To do so, tap the blue/grey button to the left of the description/amount fields in the add bill flow. This will bring up a popup that will let you categorize the bill.
Right now we have ‘spending by month by category’ on the web only. We are bringing summaries to mobile soon too.
To access on the web, go to ‘All Expenses’, click ‘trends’ on the right then ‘view full charts’.
